Assam down town University, through the Directorate of Career Advancement, in collaboration with the Faculty of Sciences, successfully organised a Corporate Guest Lecture on “Critical Thinking & Logical Reasoning for Forensic Investigations”.

The session was delivered by Mr. Athang Singson, Joint Director, Directorate Of Forensic Science, Assam, who brings over 22 years of experience in forensic science, with significant contributions to crime scene management, wildlife forensics, and forensic investigations. During the session, Mr. Singson shared valuable insights into critical thinking, logical reasoning, observation, evidence analysis, and systematic decision-making, drawing from his extensive professional experience and real-life investigations. 

The lecture provided meaningful exposure to the forensic profession while strengthening industry-academia interaction, professional development, critical thinking, and career readiness among students.
