Assam down town University hosted an insightful and high-impact Confederation of Indian Private Universities (CIPU) roundtable on “Reimagining University Administration in the Age of Digital Transformation”.

The event began with a warm welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Narayan Chandra Talukdar, Vice Chancellor of AdtU, reaffirming the university’s commitment to innovation and administrative excellence. This was followed by a compelling special address from Mr. R. Karthik, Director General of CIPU, who highlighted the importance of adopting digital frameworks to strengthen transparency, accountability, and institutional efficiency. The heart of the event was a 125-minute intensive roundtable discussion where experts explored themes such as AI-enabled university management, data-driven decision-making, enhanced student engagement, and digital tools for smoother operations. 

The session concluded with thoughtful remarks and a vote of thanks by Dr. Nitul Jyoti Das, Deputy Registrar (Academics), marking the university’s continued dedication to leading with innovation and inclusivity.
