Cdt. Bhumisnata Das of 60 Assam Girls Bn, NCC, Guwahati, and a B.Sc. Biotechnology 3rd Semester student of the Faculty of Science, Assam down town University, successfully participated in the prestigious All India Thal Sainik Camp 2026, held at DG NCC, Delhi.

Bhumisnata was selected after successfully clearing a rigorous three-round selection process conducted over three months, competing against more than 500 cadets from the North Eastern Region Directorate.

Representing the NER Directorate in the Health and Hygiene specialisation, she secured the 3rd Prize in the category, bringing recognition to 60 Assam Girls Bn, NCC, and Assam down town University.
