The Faculty of Science at Assam down town University successfully organized a “Popular Lecture on Bio-Physics” witnessing enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, researchers, and academic enthusiasts from various disciplines. 

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Atanu Nath, Breakthrough Prize laureate in Fundamental Physics 2026, who shared valuable insights into the interdisciplinary field of Bio-Physics and highlighted the integration of physics with biological systems along with its growing significance in modern scientific research and healthcare innovations. Dr. Nath also shared his inspiring scientific journey, motivating the audience and encouraging young minds toward scientific exploration.
