Best Poster Award Secured at International Redox Biology Conference for Research on Fermentation and Cancer Patterns

We are proud to announce that Ms. Dhritismita Deka, Full-time PhD Scholar, Faculty of Science, has brought laurels to our institution by winning the Best Poster Award at the prestigious International Conference on Redox Biology and its Implications in Health and Diseases (ICRB-IHD 2025), held alongside the 19th Annual Meeting of SFRR-India at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, Kolkata.

Her presentation, titled “Impact of Traditional Fermentation and Regional Variations on Arecoline Content in Betel Nut and its Association with Site-Specific Cancer Patterns in Northeast India,” reflects her dedication to impactful research. Ms. Deka is pursuing her doctoral work under the supervision of Dr. Suman Kumar Samanta and is a JRF funded by AdtU.
