Assam down town University’s 3rd and 5th Semester B.Des. Fashion & Textile Design students explored the creative possibilities of Vintage Fashion through an immersive visual storytelling exercise.
Moving beyond classroom concepts, students worked with styling, costumes, accessories, textures, props, natural elements and backdrop design to develop a cohesive vintage-inspired editorial setup. The activity enabled them to understand how fashion, design and spatial elements can come together to communicate mood, narrative and identity.
Through hands-on experimentation and collaborative execution, the exercise strengthened students’ creative thinking, visual communication and practical design skills equipping them to approach fashion as a multidimensional form of storytelling.
