Assam down town University as part of Ecclesia 2026 under the Techno Management Fest 2026, organised a two-day Halloween celebration, conceptualised and executed by the students of the B. Design Programme, Faculty of Engineering, under the coordination of Ms Shivani Goswami, the event offered an engaging platform for creative expression, experiential design and student-led initiatives.
The celebration featured three major attractions: an interactive Escape Room, a creatively designed Haunted Room and student-led stalls. The Escape Room challenged participants to solve clues, decode puzzles and complete tasks, encouraging logical reasoning, observation, teamwork and problem-solving. The Haunted Room created an immersive Halloween-themed experience through creative decorations, spatial arrangements, lighting and spooky elements. Meanwhile, the student-led stalls provided an opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs to showcase their creative products and develop practical skills in product presentation, communication and customer engagement.

The two-day event reflected the students' ability to translate creative concepts into engaging experiences while taking responsibility for planning, designing and managing different activities. It also provided valuable hands-on exposure to experiential and spatial design, event management, resource coordination, teamwork and entrepreneurial thinking.
The initiative successfully showcased the creativity, collaborative spirit and organisational abilities of the B. Design students while encouraging greater participation and interaction among the university community.
