Assam down town University conducted an awareness camp on Workplace Safety, Social Security, First Aid and E-Shram Registration at Eco Tech Paper Mill, Kamalpur, as part of its outreach initiatives.

Organised by the Faculty of Commerce and Management, the programme, guided by Dr. Archana Barman, Dr.JYOTIPRASAD K. and Mr. Raju Paul, HR Manager, Eco Tech Paper Mill, focused on occupational safety, employee welfare, social security and emergency preparedness.

With the participation of 40+ students and 60+ workers, the initiative provided valuable practical insights through meaningful interaction with industry representatives, while strengthening academia–industry collaboration and promoting safer, more responsible workplaces.
