Proud moments for Assam down town University and the state of Assam! Sah Nowaj Ahmed, a student of the Department of Physiotherapy at AdtU, has been selected to represent Assam at the National Youth Festival 2026 held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, under the Viksit Bharat Challenge Track of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2026.

Sah Nowaj earned this prestigious opportunity through his impactful ideas contributed to the “Fit Bharat, Hit Bharat” track. He will present his ideas on a national manch in the esteemed presence of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, marking a truly proud achievement for both the university and the state.

On 7 January , Sah Nowaj was felicitated during a special send-off ceremony by the Hon’ble Governor of Assam and the Hon’ble Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports, Assam, who extended their encouragement and best wishes for his national participation.

His journey to the national level reflects dedication and perseverance-beginning at the district level of the Viksit Bharat competition, followed by success in the State-Level PPT Challenge and personal interview, held at the Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare Office, Dispur.
