Assam down town University Hosts Seminar on Medical Coding Career for Biotechnology Students

Assam down town University organized an event as part of the “Corporate Guest Lecture” series to provide biotechnology and related field students with valuable insights into career opportunities in medical coding. 

The session, led by Dr.Nitin Barekere Berkere, Vice President - Human Resources at Omega Healthcare Management Services, aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry demands by offering an in-depth understanding of medical coding, a profession that integrates technical expertise with analytical skills in the healthcare sector.

The interactive seminar featured expert discussions, practical insights, and opportunities for students to engage directly with industry professionals. It highlighted the significance of medical coding in the global healthcare system, the key skills required, and its alignment with the educational background of biotechnology graduates.
