Assam down town University organized a #MushroomCultivationTraining Program in Puranbari Village, Rani Block, as part of the project ‘Socio-economic Development of ST Communities through Hydroelectric and Solar Power Generation, Integrated Farming, and Mushroom Production.’ Supported by the Department Of Science And Technology (Dst), Govt. of India, this initiative is already yielding results, with villagers from Satargaon—trained under the same project—successfully selling their produce.
