Assam down town University organized a remarkable Book Talk event, hosted by the HNDBCentralLibrary, to promote the joy of reading and spark intellectual curiosity within its vibrant community.

The event brought together students, faculty, and staff to engage in stimulating discussions on a diverse range of books spanning fiction, non-fiction, academic texts, and inspirational works. Renowned personalities like Sahitya Akademi awardee Mr. Jayanta Madhab Bora, eminent journalist Debajit Bhuyan, and Sahitya Akademi Youth Awardee Jintu Gitarth graced the occasion as speakers, sharing their insights on the transformative power of literature.

The session included book summaries delivered by university faculty who had recently published books, complementing the conversations with their unique viewpoints.
