Assam down town University proudly hosted a vibrant celebration of World Radiography organized by the Department of Radiology, Faculty of Paramedical Sciences. This global day honours the crucial role of radiologic professionals in healthcare and raises awareness of the impact radiography has on diagnosing and treating patients.

Event Highlights:

Scientific Poster and Model Competitions – Students showcased their innovative research and hands-on models, bringing attention to cutting-edge advancements in medical imaging and diagnostic radiology.

Guest Lecture on Cardiovascular Radiography – Mr. Shivam Angiraj, Technical Officer at AIIMS Guwahati, delivered a valuable talk on the role of imaging in diagnosing cardiovascular diseases. His insights on cardiac imaging techniques, such as coronary angiography and CT angiography, offered students a deep dive into the future of radiology.

Prize Distribution Ceremony – Exceptional contributions were recognized with awards, celebrating the hard work and creativity of our talented students.

Cultural Show – The event concluded with a spirited cultural show, featuring music, dance, and skits, bringing the ADTU community together in celebration.

Inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor AdtU, alongside esteemed guests including Mr. Angiraj, Dr. Abhijit Dutta, Dean of FPMS, and Dr. P.C. Sarma, Chairperson of FPMS, this event was a true testament to the dedication of our students, faculty, and staff.
