Assam down town University Celebrates 76th Republic Day with Unity and Patriotism

Assam down town University celebrated the 76th Republic Day with pride and unity, reflecting the patriotic spirit of the day. 

The event commenced with a solemn Guard of Honour, followed by the Flag Unfurling Ceremony, where the Indian Tricolor was raised high, symbolizing the strength, resilience, and progress of our great nation.

The gathering stood together to sing the National Anthem, a powerful moment that kindled pride in everyone present. Our Vice Chancellor Prof. N.C Talukdar addressed the audience with an inspiring speech, reminding us of the sacrifices of our forefathers and the importance of upholding the ideals of justice, liberty, and equality that define our democracy. The program also included the singing of the State Anthem, celebrating the cultural richness and shared identity of Assam.

Additionally, a boy named Sushil Kumar contributed to the celebrations by creating a painting dedicated to the legendary figures of our nation's freedom movement.

On this Republic Day, we came together as one, to honor our history while renewing our commitment to building a brighter and united future for our nation.
