Assam down town University, through the Faculty of Commerce and Management in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council, organised an insightful session on Angel Investment.

The session featured Mr. Anurag Patwary, Founder of IC Solutions, who shared practical insights into entrepreneurship, startup funding, and the world of angel investment, drawing from his own journey as a founder and investor. He explained how early-stage funding works, what angel investors look for before backing a startup, and the key aspects founders need to get right while raising their first round of capital.

The session was followed by an engaging interactive Q&A, where students explored the challenges of raising funds as first-time founders, approaching investors, and building a business that is ready for investment. 

The session concluded with the felicitation of Mr. Patwary and a vote of thanks by Kashish Singh, MBA 1st Semester, marking a meaningful learning experience for the participants.
