





Assam down town university successfully organized an insightful Alumni Interaction Program through the AdtU Alumni Association in collaboration with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
The program was graced by the presence of Dr. Prateeti Barman (she/her), Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, along with faculty members Dr. Aditya Bhatta, Mr. Manimugdha Medhi, Dr. Samannoy Baruah, Director of Alumni Association, and Ms. Gouri Acharjee, Executive of Directorate of Alumni Affairs. The Guest of Honour, Mr. W Subhrajit Singha, was felicitated with a traditional Fulaam Gamusa and a memento as a mark of respect and appreciation.
During the interactive session, Subhrajit shared memorable experiences from his university life and reflected on how the knowledge, skills, and values gained at AdtU helped shape his professional journey. He provided valuable guidance on interview preparation and career development, emphasizing the importance of confidence, preparation, strong fundamentals, and continuous improvement in communication and professional skills. He also shared insights from his work in the healthcare sector, particularly his role in creating awareness among Community Health Officers (CHOs) and Medical Officers (MOs) regarding mental health and healthcare initiatives.
Students enthusiastically participated in the discussion, raising questions about careers, workplace challenges, and professional growth, making the session highly engaging and inspiring for everyone present.
