Assam down town University organized an Alumni Interaction session under the AdtU Alumni Association, in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering.
Dr. Samannoy Baruah, Director, Alumni Affairs, and Ms. Gouri Acharjee, Alumni Coordinator, extended a heartfelt welcome to the invited alumnus, Dr. Mamta Devi, AdtU Alumnus B.Tech Mechanical (2011 – 2015 Batch), Post-doctoral Researcher, Laboratory of Organic Electronics, Linköping University, Sweden.
In her interactive session, Dr. Mamta Devi shared her journey from being a student of AdtU to becoming a Post-Doctoral Researcher in Sweden. Reflecting on her academic and personal milestones, she highlighted how both challenges and successes shaped her growth. With humility, she recalled her early student days at AdtU, where a strong academic foundation and the encouragement of her mentors nurtured her curiosity for research and her determination to pursue excellence.
Dr. Devi also imparted valuable life lessons, stressing that true success is achieved through consistent hard work, patience, and belief in one’s own potential. She candidly spoke of the hurdles she faced, reminding the audience that failures are not the end but stepping stones toward greater achievements. To her, every challenge was an opportunity to grow stronger.
