Assam down town University’s Alumni Association successfully organized the 1st Alumni Meet of the Aizawl Chapter, with the objective of reconnecting alumni residing in Aizawl, Mizoram, and further strengthening their bond with their alma mater. 

The program began with a warm and heartfelt welcome address by Dr. Samannoy Baruah, Director of Alumni Affairs and President of the AdtU Alumni Association. He highlighted the importance of alumni engagement and the everlasting relationship between the university and its graduates, setting a nostalgic and joyous tone for the day.

An open forum allowed alumni to revisit fond memories of their university life, from classrooms and hostel moments to cultural events and lifelong friendships. They also shared thoughtful suggestions to further enhance student support, academic quality, and campus experiences for future generations, reflecting their strong commitment toward AdtU’s progress.

The event concluded with expressions of gratitude from participants, appreciating the alumni association, the organizers, and the university for planning such a meaningful and memorable reunion.
