As part of the Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) Programme, 4th Year B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture students of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (FAST), Assam down town University, established an Agriculture Technology Information Centre (ATIC) at Bhringeshwar High School, Bongshar, Kamrup.

The ATIC brought together farmers, community members and students through practical demonstrations and innovative models on integrated farming, hydroponics, precision agriculture, low-cost storage technologies, microgreens and more.

The initiative provided students with an opportunity to put classroom learning into practice while sharing useful agricultural technologies with rural communities.

A meaningful step towards experiential learning, technology dissemination and stronger farmer–student engagement.
