Assam down town University commenced the first day of its flagship two-day industry-academia event, “From Campus to Corporate: Industry Interaction Sessions,” held on 23rd May at Radisson Blu Hotel, Guwahati. The event brought together a massive crowd of students from diverse programmes including B.Tech, BBA, MBA, BCA, and MCA, providing them with a unique platform to engage directly with global industry leaders.

The initiative was curated to spotlight the latest developments in technology and industry practices and to equip students with skills aligned with future job markets. Through strategic collaborations with global brands like L&T EduTech , IBM , SAP and VFS Global Academy , the university aims to redefine professional education in the region.

Day 1 opened with a strong focus on Mechatronics, Semiconductors, and the vast Global Career Prospects in these rapidly evolving fields. Experts like Krishna Madhu Manager – Presales & Business Development, L&T EduTech, and Dr. Surjeet Singh Kainth , Business Head, VFS Global Academy, conducted insightful sessions, shedding light on how these technologies are shaping the future of industries and how students can position themselves for success in a global job market.

As part of its commitment to nurturing academic excellence, the university also recognized and felicitated students who secured 90% and above in their Class 10 and 12 board exams.

Looking ahead, Day 2 promises to be equally transformative. With immersive sessions led by global technology leaders IBM and SAP, the focus will shift towards the dynamic digital landscape, exploring cutting-edge fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Full Stack Development, Data Science, and Cloud ERP skills that will define the workforce of tomorrow.
