Assam down town University proudly hosted the AdtU Inter-College Sports Tournaments 2026, bringing together talented athletes from several colleges and universities in a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and competitive spirit.

The Futsal Tournament, featuring 20 participating teams, concluded with Royal Global University emerging as the champions, while Dispur College secured the runner-up position. Individual honors were awarded to Himangshu Gazloo (Best Goalkeeper) and Swrang Musahari (Best Player) from Royal Global University, while Tao Pekhi from Assam down town University was recognized as the Best Scorer.

The Cricket Tournament, with 16 competing teams, saw University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) lift the championship trophy, while the host team Assam down town University finished as runner-up. Rahul Islam of USTM delivered an exceptional performance, earning the titles of Best Scorer, Man of the Match, and Player of the Tournament, while Izazul Hoque was named Best Bowler. 

Through these tournaments, Assam down town University once again demonstrated its commitment to promoting sporting excellence and fostering camaraderie among young athletes.
