Assam down town University, through its National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit and Institutional Incubation Cell (IIC), in collaboration with the Cottonian 2000 HS Batch, organized a meaningful plantation drive on 24th May 2025 to promote environmental sustainability and green initiatives. 

The event witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and NSS volunteers who collectively planted a variety of saplings across the university campus. This initiative contributed to enhancing the campus greenery, also served as a step towards combating climate change and nurturing ecological consciousness among the participants. 

The drive reflected the university’s strong commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement, in line with the broader objectives of NSS and IIC to cultivate social responsibility and foster innovation-driven actions.
