Assam down town University’s Faculty of Nursing organized its Annual Sports Day 2025 with the aim of fostering teamwork, physical fitness, and a strong sense of school spirit among students through a variety of engaging sports and activities.

The event commenced on January 8, 2025, with an inaugural ceremony led by the Dean, Faculty of Nursing, Prof (Dr)Manashi Sengupta, who also felicitated the university’s Sports Club Committee. A vibrant warm-up session featuring Zumba, led by instructor Ms. Sujana Yambem, energized participants as both faculty members and students joined in enthusiastically.

The day unfolded with outdoor sports activities, starting with a musical chair game for students, followed by a stop music/statue game for faculty members, and events such as speed walking races, basketball matches, tug-of-war competitions, and a thrilling futsal game played by the boys to conclude the day.
