AdtU Hosts 4th Edition of Pop-up Kitchen for Culinary Innovation

Assam down town University proudly presents the 4th edition of the Pop-up Kitchen, an initiative by the Discipline of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management to foster entrepreneurship and culinary creativity among students.

As part of this endeavor, students from the 6th and 2nd semesters of BHMCT and the 2nd semester of DHM curated a delicious menu, including Veg and Non-Veg Combos featuring Puri, Matar Paneer, Bihar-style Chicken, Muli Ka Achaar, Malpua with Rabdi, alongside beverages like Thandai. Additionally, a variety of chaat items such as Samosa Chaat, Aloo Chaat, and Dahi Puri Chaat delighted the attendees with their bold flavors and textures.

This initiative is driven by the collective motivation and support of the faculty members and HOD, Dr.Bhola Chourasia, Dr. Santosh Kumar Upadhyay, Mr. Mridu Pawan Rabha, Mr. Ritwick Goswami, Mr. Jyotirmoy Choudhury, Mr. Mriganka Oza, Mr. santanu sarma, Ms. Meenakshi Das, and Mrs. Arjina Begum, whose guidance has been instrumental in shaping this experience. 

The event highlights the students’ culinary talents but also instills confidence, teamwork, and business acumen—key elements for future entrepreneurs. The dedication and enthusiasm of the BHMCT and DHM students in successfully organizing the event while maintaining discipline truly reflect their commitment to excellence, making the Pop-up Kitchen a celebration of passion, innovation, and the joy of food.
