Assam down town University celebrated World Pharmacist Day in collaboration with the IPA-SF AdtU Chapter, focusing on this year's theme: “Pharmacists Meeting Global Health Needs.”

The occasion emphasized how important pharmacists are to healthcare systems. Our dedicated students and teachers took part in an awareness rally and established a human chain to promote vital themes such as the value of generic medications, drug addiction prevention, pharmacists' roles in cGMP, and effective patient counseling. In order to increase awareness, booklets and pamphlets stressing the role pharmacists play in global health were distributed, and educational boards and hoardings were erected in a number of sites. Our students also performed a moving skit about drug misuse, emphasizing the need of stopping drug abuse and the vital role pharmacists play in these initiatives.

When we work together, we can significantly improve world health!
