Assam down town University actively engaged in the National Science Day celebrations through a scientific presentation competition, offering students a dynamic platform to showcase their innovative ideas and research across various scientific disciplines. 

Evaluated by Prof. L. N. Kakati and Prof. Suresh Deka from the Faculty of Science, AdtU, the participants impressed the judges with their creativity, insightful presentations, and dedication to scientific exploration. Congratulations to Gyan Tadeng and Vibid Basumatary (B.Sc. Hons Agriculture, 2nd Year, 2nd Semester) along with team members Liza Boro and Dhruba Kayastha for winning the PowerPoint Presentation!

The event aimed to cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a passion for research, encouraging students to push the boundaries of knowledge.

National Science Day, celebrated annually on February 28th, honors Sir C. V. Raman’s discovery of the Raman Effect. AdtU’s initiative not only paid tribute to this scientific milestone but also inspired students to delve deeper into research and innovation. The judges commended the students’ efforts, highlighting the significance of scientific inquiry in solving real-world challenges and providing valuable guidance to refine their work.
