Assam down town University proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of Cadet Sergeant Bindiya Debbarma and Cadet Sergeant Samukcham Diamond Singh of the AdtU 50 Assam Air Squadron Flying NCC, who represented the North Eastern Region with distinction at the Aquasports Adventure Regatta Camp 2026.

Cadet Sergeant Bindiya Debbarma demonstrated exceptional coordination, determination, and sailing skills, securing First Position and winning the Gold Medal in the highly competitive three-person team sailing event. 

Cadet Sergeant Samukcham Diamond Singh also delivered an impressive performance, earning Third Position and a Bronze Medal.

The Aquasports Adventure Regatta Camp 2026 was held at Umiam Lake and hosted by 1 Assam BN NCC in collaboration with Umiam Sailing Club. The event concluded with an exciting sailing competition featuring three-person teams from across the region.

These remarkable accomplishments bring immense pride to Assam down town University and serve as an inspiration to aspiring cadets and students to pursue excellence with dedication, discipline and commitment.
