Assam down town University, through its Directorate of Innovation, Startup, and Acceleration (DISA), in collaboration with down town Venture Labs, IIC, and E-Cell, successfully hosted the Grant Distribution Ceremony for students and student teams selected under the AdtU Student Innovation Grant program. A total of 14 students/student teams received innovation grants to develop their projects, focusing on commercially viable solutions with real-world impact.
The event was honored by the presence of esteemed guests, including Vandana Srivastava (Jurisdictional Director, STPI-Guwahati), Ashish Sharma (Chief Operating Officer, OctaNE CoE STPI Guwahati), along with the Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, Managing Trustee, and Resident Trustee of down town Charity Trust.
The AdtU Student Innovation Grant is a pioneering initiative by DISA, aimed at empowering students by providing financial assistance to fuel technology-driven ideas and entrepreneurial ventures. This program serves as a launchpad for young innovators, encouraging them to address real-world challenges through groundbreaking solutions.
