Assam down town University successfully hosted The AdtU Annual Sports Meet 2024-25 from February 24th to 26th, 2025, bringing together athletes for an exciting display of skill, teamwork, and competitive spirit. 

The event featured multiple sporting tournaments, including cricket, futsal, and volleyball, with enthusiastic participation from various teams. In the Futsal Tournament, Arunachal FC B Team emerged as the winner, followed by Arunachal FC A Team as the runner-up. Individual accolades went to Ghanakjyoti (Best Player), Arun Jyoti Chakma (Best Goalkeeper), and Adityo Chakma (Highest Scorer). 

The Cricket Tournament saw Team Dominators clinching victory, with Royal Eleven finishing as runner-up and Parashmoni Kalita earning the title of Player of the Tournament. The Volleyball Tournament was equally thrilling, with Team Warriors securing first place in the Girls' category, followed by Team Arunachal, while Gumi Ado was named Player of the Tournament. In the Boys' category, Team Horlicks claimed the top spot, with Team Ukiyo finishing second, and Baithang Debbarma taking home the Player of the Tournament award.

The event was a grand success, reinforcing the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and perseverance while celebrating the passion and dedication of all participants.
