Assam down town University proudly congratulates Mr. Rupjoy Maibangsa!

A distinguished alumnus of the Master of Science in Emergency & Critical Care (2015–2017) programme, Mr. Rupjoy Maibangsa has been selected to represent Assam at the prestigious international training programme on “Enhancing Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience Building Capacities of North Eastern States of India,” organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Japan.

Currently serving as Project Officer, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), West Karbi Anglong, Mr. Maibangsa was nominated by the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) for this globally recognized capacity-building initiative held from 9th to 24th May 2026.
