Assam down town University proudly organized the 2nd AdtU Alumni Meet of the Delhi Chapter on 24th May 2025, through the AdtU Alumni Association, with the aim of reconnecting former students living in Delhi with their Alma Mater and each other. 

Held at Hotel Lemon Tree Premier, Gurugram, the event witnessed an enthusiastic turnout of alumni from across the city. The evening commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Samannoy Baruah, Director of Alumni Affairs and President of the AdtU Alumni Association, who underscored the enduring bond between the university and its graduates. Following this, Dr. Nayan Talukdar, M Sc. Ph.D. Associate Director of Alumni Affairs, highlighted the value of a strong alumni network in mentoring, career development, and collaborative growth. 

The interactive segment featured insightful exchanges with Dr. Rimjhim Baruah Borah, Director (i/c), Directorate of Career Advancement, Assam down town University, and Mr. Shanawaz A., Deputy Manager, who engaged the alumni on evolving career landscapes and the power of networking. 

The gathering not only rekindled fond memories of college life—classroom anecdotes, hostel days, cultural fests—but also sparked meaningful discussions about future contributions to the university. Alumni offered thoughtful feedback on enhancing academics and student support, which was warmly received by university representatives.

The event concluded on a deeply emotional note, with several attendees expressing heartfelt thanks and a renewed sense of pride in their association with AdtU. Many pledged to remain active contributors to the university’s ongoing journey, reinforcing the spirit of unity and legacy that defines the AdtU alumni family.
