Assam down town University hosted the 25th lecture of the AdtU Chancellor’s Lecture Series, delivered by Dr. Kuladhar Saikia IPS, Former Director-General of Police, Assam, on the theme “Being a Change Agent”.

In his insightful address, Dr. Saikia shared his vast experiences as an IPS officer and his contributions towards bringing positive transformations in society. He emphasized that true change makers must embody compassion, wisdom, and affirmation, and narrated inspiring stories from his journey in public service that reflected his role as a catalyst for change.

The program was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. N. C. Talukdar, Prof. (Dr.) Dharmeswar Das, Vice Chancellor, AdtU, Prof. Sunandan Baruah, DEng, Chairman and Executive Director Research, AdtU, along with the Director, DISA, Deans of Faculty of Studies, faculty members, and students.

The lecture offered profound insights into leadership and social responsibility, also inspired the young minds of AdtU to embrace the spirit of change and contribute meaningfully to society.
