Assam down town University is proud to announce that the Incubatee Onboarding and Grant Distribution Ceremony for the inaugural cohort of startups under the iTBI scheme, was successfully organised by down town Venture Labs Foundation (dtVL), the Technology Business Incubator of the University on 10th June 2025.

This initiative is part of the prestigious NIDHI iTBI program, supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.

During the event, 20 promising startups were officially onboarded into the dtVL ecosystem, and 5 standout startups received Ignition Grant totaling Rs.31 lakhs. The occasion was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Mr. Sazzad Alam, Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, as the Chief Guest; Ms. Atreyee Borooah Thekedath as the Guest of Honour; and Mr. Ritu Raj Phukan as Special Guest.
