Assam down town University proudly hosted the AdtU Inter College/University Volleyball Tournament 2026, which witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 16 competitive teams from different institutions. 

The tournament showcased remarkable energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship among the players. In the Men’s Category, Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (L.N.I.P.E) emerged as the Champion, while Assam down town University secured the Runner-Up position after delivering a strong and commendable performance throughout the tournament. The Closing Ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Violina Boruah, Assamese film actress, and Guest of Honour Jupi Hazarika, social activist, who appreciated the efforts of all participants and encouraged young athletes to continue striving for excellence. 

The tournament concluded on a high note, celebrating sportsmanship, determination, and the spirit of healthy competition among young athletes.
