Research

About Research:

Creating and improving algorithms for use in Agri-informatics, climate change, and other applications using computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning. As a result, Dr. Barman can help with both generating innovative solutions to challenging engineering problems. Dr. Barman always loved doing research and coming up with original solutions to problems, therefore he thinks that his background will be useful in any research opportunities. Dr. Barman focuses on analysing several facets of AI, including Machine and Deep Learning, and its range of applications in the Agri-computing industry. Dr. Barman thinks that having worked on funded research projects and having experience in the fields of machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision has given him the technical know-how to do more and grow my career. Dr. Barman will be happy enough to work in the following research areas using AI/ML and AR VR.

  1. AI applications for crop health monitoring (disease detection) and yield monitoring.
  2. AI applications in Education Technology.
  3. AI in Healthcare, AR-VR in health care.
  4. Drone-based technology for crop health monitoring and disease control.
  5. Robotics application in agriculture for planting and harvesting of vegetables and fruits.
  6. Development of AR VR-based Agri-computing technology for the betterment of farmers.
