I joined National Productivity Council as Assistant Director, Research and subsequently I was given additional responsibility in the field of Behavioural Science because of my aptitude and interest. I have carried out consultancy assignments covering various sectors of the economy which is a part of Applied Research. Coursework for PhD on organisational development is already completed and the thesis is submitted
I am successful leader who works with a vision. I can explore and orient potentialities of people thereby extract their contribution for the organisation. I can manage change effectively while sustaining productivity. I can develop the competency of an individual working under me. My varied job responsibilities during the career of my service demanded academic, professional and administrative skills. As an academician I had to keep myself up-to-date with the latest developments. As a professional I was required to lead, guide and counsel my subordinates for successfully carrying out the assigned task. Required to generate revenue so that my unit becomes a strategic business unit. To achieve the same, establishment of rapport with client is a must which I have achieved successfully due to my human relation skill. As an administrator I was required to look into the cash flow position of the organisation and sustain congenial organisational culture which motivates people to work. As a manager I was required to take appropriate decision in the situation of crisis, managed the resources viz. time, human resource, financial resource as per priority. During my student life I represented Gauhati University in Pan Indian Terminology Workshop at Amdar Bhawan, Nagpur.
