A thesis entitled "Comparative Pharmacological Study of  Some Commonly Used Fluroquinolones with Special Reference to their Antimicrobial Actions" was carried out in the Department of Pharmacology,  Gauhati Medical College, Guwahati and submitted to Gauhati University for the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pharmacology in 2002.

3. Attended XLIX  Annual National Conference of Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India held in Guwahati from 14th to 17th December 2003.
