Assam's Minister of Education, Welfare of Plain Tribe & Backward Classes, Shri Ranoj Pegu, presided over the International Conference on "Advances in Sustainable Development, Innovation, and Green Technology (ICAS-DIGT-2024)," at Assam down town University.

Shri Ranoj Pegu participated in conversations with prominent figures from academia and industry about the critical role of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in furthering the United Nations SDG2030 agenda. Minister Pegu underlined the importance of education, research, community participation, and sustainable practices, as well as the ability of higher education institutions to promote global citizenship and create a more sustainable and equitable society.
