Prof D. Sarma has performed technical activities in 24 developing to developed countries for management of projects and for academia. Experienced in multicultural workplaces, ISO 9001 system, and multifarious project environments, he has been the Team Leader and Expert, designated by 10 international agencies like World Bank, MCC (USA), EuropeAid, etc., various international corporate groups, and central and state ministerial bodies of Afro-Asia and Oceania regions.
He executes exchange programmes among professional and academic institutions of Norway, New Zealand, Southern Africa, India, etc., and has intellectual works exceeding 110 on authoring, publications and technical reports, and delivered 44 lectures internationally, besides regular classes in various subjects of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
He conducted 36 sessions internationally as Chair, Panelist, Board and Scientific Committee Member and as designated peer-reviewer of the international journal, conference proceedings, national guidelines, and technical manual.
