Faculty of Nursing, Assam down town University feels immense pleasure to announce that it has organized its 3rd National Conference on the theme “Transforming nursing future: Challenges, Innovation and Management” held on 6th April 2019, at Assam down town University Auditorium, Panikhaiti, Assam.
The conference was ingurated by Hon’ble Chancellor of AdtU, Dr. N.N. Dutta, Hon’ble VC of AdtU Prof Amarjyoti Choudhury, Prof Bandana Dutta, Dean of Studies of AdtU.
The resource persons of the conference were Prof. (Dr.) Mridula Saikia Khanikor Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Indira Gandhi Technological and Medical Sciences University Arunachal Pradesh, Dr Jothi Clara Micheal, Clinical Governance Officer, Kavery Hospital,Trichy,Chennai, and Prof ( Mrs) Manashi Sengupta, Dean , Faculty of Nursing, AdtU. The conference aims is to create a culture that embraces innovation and collaboration as one of the best ways to ensure the health care provider to provide excellent care.
In the conference, the 3rd edition of the college magazine “EPISTEME” was also released.
The targeted audiences were the Nurse Administrators, Ward In-charges, Staff Nurses, Faculties, B.Sc and M.Sc Nursing students. A total number of 218 (two hundred eighteen) delegates from various states, 64 institutes and hospitals attended the conference i.e. From Nagaland, Assam, Tripura and Meghalaya. Delegates from various institutes have also participated in paper and poster presentations.
The conference was a grand success as it has focused on the key aspect of the conference i.e. to encourage the nursing personnels to exchange ideas and get updated about the latest innovations in providing quality health care and identify the emerging trends to face the challenges in the health care system.
