Assam down town University (or AdtU) is one of the major private universities of higher education in North East India. Located at Panikhaiti, which is at a distance of about 12 km from the city capital, Dispur, it overlooks the mighty river Brahmaputra, that adds to its pristine ambience. The university offers diploma, graduate and postgraduate studies.
