Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management
The Bachelor of Hotel management (BHM) is a three years full time degree programme spread over 6 semesters. This is a specialized management course focused on skilling the student in all aspects of Management of hotels and other enterprises related to hospitality industry. The course provides substantial practical skills related to different functions in a hotel and therefore has a large amount of time dedicated to practical training. The graduating students find opportunities to join various large and small hotels in the entry level positions for their internship, and then graduate to higher levels of responsibilities through a continuous process of internal promotion. The student can choose to work in any one of the key functions such as Food and Beverages Service, Food Production, Front Office management or Housekeeping Services.
