The hospitality programs of the University began in 2010. Our academic mission for the course is simple: we strive to instill in all our students an awareness of changing realities of Hospitality and tourism sector and a strong sense of personal responsibility. We employ a blend of practical training, exercise, discussions, team work, grooming of personality development and balanced teaching approach in a result of oriented manner. We also provide students with a strong grounding in Hospitality service coupled with the intangible skills sought by today’s demands.
The driving force which motivates the students and discover their hidden talents are a team of experienced faculty members who are all experts in their chosen disciplines. Learning takes place in a state-of-the-art classroom and in a real time environment through the on campus practical kitchen, restaurant and bar, front office, housekeeping and computer lab Besides that, students are also provided with the facilities of cafeteria, individual lockers, free study materials and a well stocked library. The students will also expose for industrial training for six months in different hotels around the country.
The diversity of experience in Hotel Management is greater than any other profession. Today the rise in the corporate activity as well as the wish to travel on holiday has made the Hotel industry a very competitive one and is therefore, assuming greater significance than before and also fast developing as a lucrative career option. Therefore the main focus is to mould the students in the practical field, emphasizing on creating employment opportunities for the younger generations all over the country.
